fonts-senamirmir-washra software package provides collection of unicode fonts for the Ethiopic script, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-senamirmir-washra
fonts-senamirmir-washra is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-senamirmir-washra package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-senamirmir-washra *
You will get with fonts-senamirmir-washra package name, version, architecture and description in a table
